Summary form only given. ET/sub 2/TlHg(XCN)/sub 4/ salts (M= NH/sub 4/, Rb, K; X=S) are of interest now mostly due to very anomalous low temperature properties and pronounced competition between superconducting and magnetic ground states. The results of the thermopower studies in two new members of the series M=Tl, X= S, Se show that despite very similar behavior in high temperature region, their low temperature properties are quite different. The first salt shows magnetically ordered ground state below 10 K characterized by anomaloug thermopower behavior, while the second one is a conventional metal to the lowest temperatures studied.
