Abstract
For the development of renewable energy, the control of active and reactive power in a doubly fed induction generator was studied. A control method that takes into account the capacity of electrical power converter is proposed. And the control of active and reactive power was verified by an experiment that applied a dual direction AC/DC/AC electrical power converter to a 10 kW DFIG.
