Abstract :
The traditional method of removing weak clouds in images often leads to damaging parts of the image that did not need to be modified. This paper proposed a new method based on the principle of satellite imaging and geological statistic theory. By this method, image areas without clouds covering cannot be damaged and parameters of clouds removing model can be calculated automatically for multi-band images. A module is programmed by IDL language to realize the method. The result shows that this algorithm is less computationally expensive than traditional method.
