Abstract :
In this paper, the method of wavelet packet transform analysis is proposed, according to the shortcomings of Fourier transform analysis method when the fault detection of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) is studied. The stator current signal of PMSM is decomposed by wavelet packet, then the signal energy eigenvalues of frequency bands are analyzed. The simulation result shows that the method of wavelet packet transform analysis can well characterize the fault features of the stator winding inter-turn short circuit.
