Abstract :
Equipment Support Process is a dynamic and complex process. Combining with the advantages of ARENA and UML, the models of equipment support process were established by the means of UML, including function models, dynamic models and object models. The frame work of UML-ARENA simulation software was constructed, and the mapping relations between UML object classes and ARENA models were designed. Based on this architecture, the equipment support process was simulated by utilizing process simulation software ARENA. An example was given, which proves that the equipment support efficiency is higher under the optimized support process based on this method.
