Abstract :
Under certain conditions, condenser pressure can be considered as back pressure of the steam turbine, which has great influence on the unit power. Based on the back pressure calculation model, influence on back pressure variation by adjusting circulating water flow is discussed in this paper. The model is developed from mechanism analysis of the condenser and cooling tower. Results show that cooling water inlet temperature is an important parameter during the back pressure calculation. Changing the unit output by adjusting circulating cooling water flow of the cold-end system has different effects on the unit output increment and decrement.
