  • Abstract
Packets congestion is a fatal problem in VANETs (Vehicular Ad hoc Networks) whose primary goal is improving driving safety depending on effective information exchanging. In this paper, we proposed a QoS (Quality of Safety) sensitive transmission scheme on a single channel to improve reception ratio and spectrum utilization whereby congestions could be avoided to a great extent. By introducing SINR (Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio) based utility function into the congestion game, our proposed model shows a good performance on throughput, average transmission delay, slot utilization and service miss ratio compared with Round Robin and Earliest Deadline First algorithms.
