Abstract
Summary form only given. Starting with the prototype nesting spectrum of (TMTSF)/sub 2/PF/sub 6/ it is shown that the gap due to the anion ordering would result in a different SDW state for ClO/sub 4/ if the antinesting term, t/sub b/´ was omitted. The magnetic field then first diminishes the role of that term restoring the above SDW state. At further field increase this SDW state is gradually destroyed by the magnetic breakdown. The properties of the prototype PF/sub 6/ should be seen again at very large magnetic field. Cyclotron resonance on open orbits is discussed to study whether the gap due to the anion ordering in the case of ClO/sub 4/ can be seen independently.
