Abstract :
Pipeline processors are proposed for computation of fast discrete trigonometric transforms (DTT), particularly for cosine (DCT) and sine (DST) transforms. The transform time is O(N), where N=2n is the length of the input data vector. Because of the using the internal properties of the considered transforms, the numbers of adders, multipliers and registers are reduced when compared with the pipeline structures for fast Fourier transform and direct DCT
