Abstract :
Complex permittivity and permeability measurement plays an important role in microwave technology since knowing properties of material is the first step in all kind of design when the material is used. In this paper, we study these dielectric and magnetic properties of one nickel ferrite ceramic sample and two custom made strontium ferrite composite ceramic samples in microwave frequency from 4.5 to 26.5 GHz in demagnetized state. Cavity perturbation and waveguide transmission line technique were used to carry out the measurement tasks
