Abstract
A novel reduced fifth-order sampled data dynamic model for the self-sustained series-parallel resonant converter with inductive output filter is described in this paper. A generalized sampled data algorithm suitable for any switched converter is given with a step-by-step procedure. Based on this algorithm, accurate simple state-space large signal and small signal dynamic models are derived. The main advantage of the sampled data technique is its systematic procedure, high accuracy, and less mathematical effort. The proposed dynamic models are verified by the analytical, simulation, and experimental results.
