Abstract
We investigate the reduction in the duty-cycle for M-phase-shift-keyed transmission, demonstrating performance improvement in the range of 2-8 dB in nonlinear threshold (NLT) due to intrachannel-four wave mixing (IFWM) and nonlinear phase noise (NLPN).
