Abstract :
A circularly-polarized agile antenna tuned by two varactor diodes is proposed. The system can handle left and right circular polarizations on a 1% bandwidth. The working frequency can also be reconfigured on an 1% bandwidth from 1.4 to 1.63GHz. A circuit dedicated to permanently measure the quality of the circular polarization directly on the patch is proposed. The system can handle a self calibration using these criterions.
