Abstract
We report the propagation characteristics of THz pulses on micro-strip-lines and coplanar strip-lines, utilizing low permittivity polymer materials in the dielectric layer or as the substrates. It will be shown computationally and experimentally that low loss and small dispersion can be realized up to 3 THz, in both the strip-lines. As an example of their applications, spectroscopic characterization of liquid or powder specimens are demonstrated.
