Abstract :
Multiview video contains more views of scene providing the view-navigating and interactive ability which pull more attention in recent years. 3D and free viewpoint video was investigated and appeared in MPEG standard called 3DAV. The requirements of multiview video capture system are investigated, and we built a simple capture system regarded as the more important module of whole multiview video system including geometrical calibration. Experimental result is given and shows that the capture system works well and is feasible to multiview video.
