Abstract :
Vertical temporal filtering is theoretically the best linear de-interlacing approach. In this paper, we propose a content adaptive vertical temporal filtering method for video de-interlacing. The new filtering approach adapts to the local image content and outperforms the traditional method with both stationery and moving image parts.
