Abstract :
This paper describes five wideband antennas, three with fan-shaped radiation elements and two that use conducting body-of-revolution (BOR) elements. The latter two antennas are comprised of a conducting BOR with a conducting parasitic ring, and a conducting BOR with a conducting cross plate, respectively. The radiation characteristics of the five antennas are analyzed over a wide frequency range.
