Abstract :
With the recent progress in power electronic devices employed in power converters an assurance of EMC performance of adjustable speed drives (ASD) systems becomes a significant problem. This work presents a comparative analysis of an influence of commonly used passive EMI filters (line reactors, CM choke, CM transformer and sinusoidal filter) on various aspects of electromagnetic compatibility of ASD´s.
