Abstract
A simple two-stage converter with unified controller is proposed in this paper. The magnetizing current of DC/DC transformer can be used to help reduce the DC bus voltage in light-load conditions. Detailed theoretical analysis is presented. A 240 W prototype based on the proposed topology is built up and experiment results verify the analysis.
