Abstract
Several warranty risk analysis methodologies were researched to develop an optimized risk analysis software tool for aircraft and equipment items. The different characteristics and modules used in the development of this warranty software are described in detail. Besides offering to the user a starting-point in the development of a warranty, the software provides guidance on warranty wording and cost risk assessments so that users can compare all relative merits of competing warranties
