Abstract :
The paper describes a design and practical implementation of a model reference adaptive fuzzy control scheme in the angular speed control loop of a DC motor drive. The control scheme being implemented contains a fuzzy adaptation algorithm that dynamically adjusts the level of the basic fuzzy controller´s output. The experimental results indicate marked improvement of the dynamic performance in case of parameter and load variations
