Abstract
This paper investigates the body loss when a mobile handset is carried on the user´s body, e.g., when a hands-free kit is used and the handset is carried in a pocket. A number of measurements were carried out in a live GSM network, using logging of data from the Abis interface of the network. Four commercially available handsets were tested and 18 test users were involved. In addition a full body phantom mimicking the user´s body was tested
