Abstract :
Aiming at the vibration control problem of high-speed motorized spindle, a reconfigurable vibration monitoring and control system is developed. The speed control module by PLC and real-time vibration monitoring module by DSP are designed to accomplish some operation condition evaluation tasks such as real-time dynamic display, axis center track analysis and spectrum analysis, and based on the vibration analysis results an early warning system for high-speed motorized spindle in operation is developed. For a 40000rpm spindle the field experiment is carried out. Comparing with the results of the standard instrument COCO80, this system developed can accurately pick up vibration information and complete early warning, which lays a foundation for the high-speed motorized spindle intelligent maintenance.
