Abstract
This paper addresses about the evaluation of speech signal performance measures by applying polynomial method. The performance parameters are evaluated with the variation of the order of polynomial function. The various speech signal parameters are obtained by using the input speech signal taken from International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) data base in the category of Consonants of American-English and also reconstructed the speech signal at the destination end. It is seen that the obtained values of the speech signal parameters give an almost error free transmission of speech signals and properly reconstructed the speech signal at the destination end.
