Abstract
RFID systems are emerging while the taxonomy of the security threats to tackle with is not yet clear. In this paper, a taxonomy model of RFID security threats is proposed, which classifies the large number of threats into a few well defined and easily understood categories. This taxonomy model is system-specific, hierarchical and practical, and it would benefit the process of the assessment of RFID security protocol and the defense in depth of RFID system.
