Abstract :
The solution for Ethernet LAN security, using SECURCOM devices, is implemented through design requirements with special attention to network security. The technical solution, with functional specifications and detailed description of the encryption algorithm using a decentralized key distribution scheme, is given. The performance impact on LAN operations is analysed to some extent.
