Abstract :
To understand the use of the rubber bearings in base-isolated building, a field investigation was carried out. which is schools, hospitals, residential and commercial buildings. The result shows that, part of the base-isolated building can not accord with the Code for seismic design of buildings, then taking a analysis. Comparing the results, the paper summarizes several measures to solve this problem.
