Abstract :
On the basis of analyzing the environment of marine atmosphere, this paper investigated the effects of marine atmospheric environment on the transmittance of Ultraviolet (UV)light, and gained a conclusion that under marine atmospheric environment the effect of wind speed on the UV atmospheric transmittance is very small, but cloud, rain and fog are all disadvantageous. Simulations of two kinds of modulation under various environments using the MODTRAN model shows that the distance of BPSK is 7% farer than that of BFSK.
