  • Abstract
Road traffic accident reconstruction is an important means which is mainly used for the accident identification as well as the cause of the accident. It can provide a scientific basis for the judiciary and the government decision-making departments. Car and pedestrian model was established through multiple calculation methods in the inside of the PC-Crash, and Searle formula results were compared to verify the validity of the model. Further, by changing the characteristic parameters of the collision speed and pedestrian characteristics to study the law of collisions. The results show that the factors of pedestrian head injury and throw distance is speed. Pedestrian characteristic parameters, pedestrian and car before the collision the relative impact weight of the largest pedestrian height, followed by the location of the results, and finally a pedestrian walking speed. And an accident cases to verify the correctness of the result. The results provide ideas and theoretical basis for future depth accident investigation analysis.
