Abstract :
In this paper, the radiation efficiency improvement method of the PIFA using distributed excitation is proposed. The several meandered PIFAs are arranged closely and fed together. The single-input multiple-output network is connected to the antenna and this configuration works as a single mode antenna. The feeding weight is optimized for maximizing the radiation efficiency.
