Abstract :
The controllability and observability of permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSM) is analyzed by using mathematic model of PMSM. Based upon which, a full order state observer is established for stator flux of PMSM. This observer is employed to PMSM direct torque control (DTC) system to substitute traditional pure integrator stator flux observer. Simulation results show that the full order observer achieves satisfied estimation of stator flux, especially near zero speed, and offers great robustness to parameter variation.
