Abstract :
The article reviews the main approaches to optimization of commutation center functioning. The weighted round robin (WRR) algorithm is approved. It allows processing an unforeseen peak of the load efficiently. Such unforeseen peaks of the load are typical for the self-similar traffic at the expense of load dynamic size changing which can be directed from the high priority queue to the low priority queue.
