Abstract :
To realize end-to-end business processes and the precise management, it becomes an essential issue to organize the data effectively. The existing management information models are mostly equipment configuration-centric model, focusing on element management layer and network management layer. The research of business process-centric management information model just launches out. In this paper, a layered management information model is proposed which includes three layers: common management information model -physical layer (CMIM-PhL), common management information model-logical layer (CMIM-LoL) and common management information model-theme-oriented layer (CMIM-ThOL). The physical layer and logical layer are modeled with bottom-up viewpoint to describe the resource fully and precisely. The theme-oriented layer is modeled with top-down viewpoint to support the data requirement of business processes implementation. Then the idea of "function relationship map (FRM)" is proposed to perform data requirement analysis. Finally CMIM-ThOL is modeled.
