Abstract
An attempt is made to bridge the theoretical world of fan engineering with the practical world of fan applications in the cement plant. This is done by discussing some basics of fan engineering and gas flow and a few case histories of fan applications and problems. Some basic principles of gas flow and gas flow measurement are addressed
