Abstract
In this work, we apply this technique to the analysis of penetrable scatterers using the Muller integral formulation [4]. The Muller formulation is a surface integral equation formulation for the analysis of scattering from penetrable bodies and has been shown to be stable for all frequencies [5]. In this work, we will construct the GMM discretization of the Muller integral operators and demonstrate its ability to mix multiple basis functions. The remainder of this paper will be organized as follows. The next section will state the problem, provide the Muller formulation and some details of the GMM scheme. This is followed by the specifics of the GMM implementation for Muller equations in Section 3. Finally Section 4 will present some basic results demonstrating the validity of the technique.
