Abstract
The present paper deals with some aspects of developing a broadband transmitting space-based APhAA with low-mass and high-power characteristics. Specifically, a method of reducing the number of the APhAA radiators, is discussed without compromising the side lobes level and the directivity fall with suppression of side main pattern maxima. Besides, the issues of mutual influence of radiators as constituents of the APhAA system is likewise considered.
