Abstract
In this paper, the RF MEMS slot-loaded patch antenna is implemented with integrated dc bias line for the first time. The design demonstrates efficient and monolithically fabricated antenna design with the bias network composed of the dc bias line and filter circuitries. The antenna operates at dual frequencies: 4.6 GHz and 4.8 GHz and exhibits radiation pattern with linear polarization. This design of the bias network can be expanded into any other slot-loaded structures which use RF MEMS switch.
