Abstract
A system is proposed for integration, processing, and intelligent analysis of physiological variables in an ICU (intensive care unit) in which these concepts are monitored. Signal acquisition and processing and the expert system are described. An important function of the system, which is now in the development stage, is the graphic output of the results (physiological states, alarms, suggestions, etc.) and possible viewing of signals
