Abstract :
The real-time measure of network performance is crucial for many network applications. In order to ease the overhead introduced by various host-based network performance measure methods, a router-based hop-by-hop advertise scheme for network state announce service is proposed in this paper. The scheme provide network state announce service for all hosts in a single route-domain with the measure overhead of O(n2), n is the number of routers in the route-domain.
