Abstract :
Summary form only given. The stability of AuCl/sub 3/-doped poly(3-hexylthiophene) thin films were studied at elevated temperatures by means of optical spectroscopy. At room temperature the stability is substantially enhanced relative to that of the FeCl/sub 3/-doped system. At higher temperatures the difference is less pronounced although AuCl/sub 3/ is still a more stable dopant. The dedoping is discussed in terms of the thermochromism-related dedoping mechanism.
