  • Abstract
    A buyer wants to buy merchandise (such as a car or real estate) that needs ownership transfer from the seller to the buyer. The buyer wants to be sure that their money will not be transferred to the seller unless the ownership of the merchandise is transferred to them. Also, the seller wants to be sure that the ownership of the merchandise will not be transferred to the buyer unless they receive the payment. This paper presents the first protocol on ownership transfer that ensures the fairness for both the buyer and the seller.
