Abstract
Oscillator is the core of many electron systems, and has immense huge effect on signal process, but the design of its tuning range and linearity is a difficulty. A wide tuning range and high linearity saw tooth-wave VCO circuit based on 0.8um BICMOS technology is presented, and is simulated by using the tool of Candance. The results show that the saw tooth-wave has many advantages, such as stable frequency, high precision, wide tuning range and high linearity. It can be widely used in regulators and many kinds of phase or frequency locking system.
