Abstract :
Flight vehicle, based on various reasons, accumulates abundant charge in the course of high-speed flight and thus occur the phenomenon of corona discharge. This phenomenon offers a new way for air target detection. This paper aims at processing experimental investigation on radiation frequency spectrum produced by corona discharge at high or low pressure. It concludes that the characteristic frequency spectrum of negative corona discharge basically does not vary along with the pressure and only exists in the process of Trichel pulse of negative corona discharge. Besides, when discharge voltage increases above certain threshold, discharge converts to another mode and the specific characteristic of radiation frequency spectrum disappears.
