Abstract
This paper presents an implementation for Dahlin digital controller by means of IIR network method of DSP. The structure and usage of IIR network for this kind of controller are described in detail. It is convenient to write the program of the controller according to the IIR network. The programs can be employed for implementing the controllers in both software of micro-computers and dedicated DSP chips. An example of a specific dahlin controller is used to indicate the advantage of the IIR method. Employing IIR method, we can increase accuracy of output of the Dahlin controller. The transient process of Dahlin controllers with IIR network are obviously superior to a traditional Dahlin controllers with difference equation method.
