Abstract :
This paper discusses the radiation characteristics of the implant antenna which are affected by the presence of the lossy and dispersive tissues in the near-field, the radio link from the implanted antenna to the external antenna, which considers the wave propagation from the implanted antenna through the body into the air and over to the external antenna can be characterized in terms of the RF transmission attenuation in/through the body.
