Abstract :
Summary form only given. We report the first experimental observation of self-trapping of spatially incoherent dark beams in the form of one-dimensional dark stripes and of two-dimensional dark vortices. To generate spatially incoherent dark beams, we convert a coherent laser source into a quasi-monochromatic spatially incoherent light source by using a relating diffuser.
