Abstract :
Structure formation mechanisms and self-organization of Cu nanoparticles have been studied experimentally at quasi-equilibrium condensation of sputtered substance in high-pure inert medium. A mathematical model of mass transfer near a substrate at increased working gas pressure has shown decrease in supersaturation, resulting in averaging of nanocrystal sizes by means of Ostwald ripening.
