Abstract :
Asphalt concrete is a widely used paving material. Asphalt is employed as binders in the concrete while aggregate is employed as skeleton. Aggregates which can be divided into fine ones and course ones contribute the main strength of asphalt concrete. In order to ensure the strength of asphalt concrete, aggregates should be well dispersed in asphalt concrete. Therefore, evaluation of dispersion of aggregation in asphalt concrete is quite important in Quality Assessment/Quality Control. In this paper, grey correlation theory was introduced to the evaluation of segregation of asphalt concrete. Results showed that this method was feasible. Moreover, framework of intelligent evaluation of aggregation segregation of asphalt concrete was also established.
