Abstract :
This paper presents the results of a CAD investigation on the intermodulation distortion performance of class F RF and microwave amplifiers. The investigation reveals that the employing class F technique causes a reduction in the level of the third order intermodulation distortion in the amplifier. The investigation concludes that the termination of the even harmonics to a short circuits plays the major role in this reduction
