Abstract :
Architecture technology has become the important method in the top-level design of weapons and equipment system. Based on the research of existing architecture framework and supporting technologies, DoD has developed the comprehensive framework for architecture and the development planning for related fields, and energetically promotes the development and application of the architecture. The latest research result is "Department of Defense Architecture Framework Version 2.0". The development of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and main versions are described. Otherwise, the prime changes and advantages of "DoDAF2.0" are analyzed. The PLA should use the experience of DoD for reference, and actively conduct research on the architecture framework and the related supporting technologies suitable for PLA.
